  2. What can I do to prevent getting cut off from listening to you after a certain amount of time such as 30 minutes?
    If you are being cut off, it is your Internet Service Provider causing the problem. When you are listening, the ISP thinks there is no activity if you are not searching the web and will cut you off for "inactivity". You need to install a "ping" program that will tell your ISP you're still connected with them.

    Our Oldies Channel and DSL access is by subscription only. Our Main Channel is free. Log in from: http://countrybear.com/coollink.htm

    The free service is provided by Abacast, the paid service is not. If you are having problems e-mail us and we will have Abacast contact you to find out what the problem is. 99% of our listeners have no problems with Abacast but ocassionally there is a security issue that needs to be addressed.
