STUFF THAT SUCKS
Since there is so much griping and whining out here in the forum, why don't we just put it all here? I'll start. Hmmm... Stuff that sucks... How about Jeff from the Hangar? He books 3-bands for a single Friday night then picks his favorite when they all show up, and shafts the rest of them. Next?

Expressing dissatisfaction is not necessarily "griping" or "whining". Regardless, a whole thread dedicated to bitching will do nothing to better San Antonio's music scene.

Yeah I really don't think (pardon my french please) that a bunch of shit-talking about clubs and/or their staff is very cool, whether it's true or not. Certainly there must be more positive ways to support SA. |

Hey, I'm all for complaining, but if you're going to call out a person by name & business (ex. John Smith at John's Tavern) then you should also list your own name and email. Here's my entry into stuff that sucks: People who complain about others, but don't list their name to avoid trouble. If you can't take it, don't try to dish it out.

Man, I HATE these anonymous people in these anonymous bands that I like to hang out with at an anonymous bar on Broadway and 410 (right outside 410) on Tuesday nights!!! Damn you all!!! P.S. By the way, I did finally beat Chrissy at darts. She's a freakin shark.

(I'll watch my language this time) *Bogus Benefit Shows - it's not that hard to tell anymore... *Bands that play sick jokes for shameless promotion; ie: one of my favorite bands (no names?) posted a RIP MySpace bulletin stating that one of their band mates was gunned down. Oh s***, I was SO upset. The number of their plays sky-rocketed! In actuality, it was a scenario of Lennon's assassination had I read more carefully. Talk about LAME! Whew, I feel better now, I think
