Heather, I don't know if your still looking for a home for your russian tortise, but I would love to take her.
I had a male russian and have recently lost him. Although he can never be replaced, I fell in love with the nature of the russians turtles.
I promise she would be so very well cared for, we have kids and other pets who just loved Skooter, that was his name.
Please let me know...I'd love to have her!
