Low carb eating out
How easy is it to eat out currently in the UK? What changes would you like to see within 5 years? In your experience, are there wide differences in getting suitable low carb meals in restaurants, hotels, airlines, workplace canteens and hospitals? |

Re: Low carb eating out
the only place i have found with a low carb menu is a chain of pubs in the uk called 'yates' they have three meals, steak and eggs, a burger consisting of two beef burgers with a chicken breast and cheese sandwhiched in between and salad or a chicken and bacon salad. whilst uninventive at least you know what you are getting has been made especially for low carb dieters, unfortunatly they couldnt tell me what the actual carb count was. they do however stock a low carb lager and low carb diet bacardi breezers... tgi friday, as they are an american chain, you would think would be better but i went a few months ago and spoke to the deputy manager prior to ordering, he assured me i could be catered for but when they brought me my sword fish i found it had been coated in flour before they cooked it!... |
