Subject:   Pen Project

Message:   The Niagara River Anglers will not be participating in the Pen Project this year. The DEC were to bring the Steelhead in on Monday. There are not enough volunteers available this weeked to put the pens together and all the work involved. The fish are already 17 to the pond so we would only have them for about 2 weeks. The price of gas for people to drive and feed them each day, plus a short time of having them has made President Jackson decline for this year. To top it off, the fish would not have been tagged after spending $1.5 million on the tagging trailer. So to all that would have helped and have in the past, relax this weekend. Thanks for volunteering.
