I am from the states so I really only knew Kevin Smith's works in Xena and Hercules. And of those I can truly say he WAS Ares. I do not think I can really name those actors who have taken a character and really made it his/her own. His abilities are breathtaking and he is a huge loss to the entertainment industry. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, who will be mourning this loss the worst. May God be with you.
