The Moon - Without Earth + The Moon 1968 [2 CD rerelease]

The Moon recorded two albums in 1968 and 1969 for the Imperial label.
Both albums with bonus tracks released on Rev-Ola in 2002.

Formed in the summer of 1967, The Moon consisted of lead vocalist/songwriter Matthew Moore, keyboardist, drummer, producer, and engineer Larry Brown, bassist Andy (Drew) Bennett, and guitarist David Marks.

The Moon spent a staggering 540 hours locking themselves in the studio (much of it under LSD, apparently) producing the 30 minutes of music for their 1967 debut Without Earth. A wonderful Beatles influenced sound.
Enjoy!

Both albums are really good.

I absolutely love that first album*Without Earth*,theres a connection to the US group Colours, whose first album is terrific and who The Moon covered some songs that featured on Colours debut album. Now Sounds released both Colours albums on one cd way back in 2008.Really disappointed in their second album"Atmosphere"though.
