Come across an old cd i had lurking about in me old cupboard tonight,i had totally forgotten i had it,im playing it now and its a real groovy swinging london type of thing featuring recordings from the KPM music library and featuring the likes of Alan Hawkshaw,Alan Parker,Johnny Pearson,Keith Mansfield and others!!THis cd was released way back in 96 and features music made from 68-70,its a fab collection with mighty wah wah guitars, heavy hammond dancers and sitar enhanced groovers. Its got me thinking can anyone recommend any other music library collections available on cd??If theyre as good as this i really need to hear more. Are there any other KPM music library cds to wet the groovers appetite??Anyone remember the Blow Up club that took place at Wardour Street ,London? Also if i remember right there were other Blow Up Presents cds too,i wondered if they are as good as this??Many thanks,Stuart
Hi Stuart.
There were 4 vols of Blow Up Exclusive Blend all similar.
I can't remember if they have separate titles...I have 3 of them but I'm not
at home now and can't check...
There's also 'Blow up A Go Go' which has tracks by Georgie Fame, Spencer Davies Group, Andy Williams alongside some contemporary sitar dancers etc.
I'll get back to you on these.
