The Bait Shop and the condo and of course the shameless fine art marketing - speaks volumes about where our community is heading. People from all of the USA coming to our quiet neighborhood and changing our life. Not just changing it but painting it and calling it there's too. I am a lifelong resident and I am used to the evolution and the old being cleared out for the new. Condo towers and old gray citizens (takes one to know one) are just as welcome here as the painters and poets who fell in love with this place a decade ago.

Every community in our great country is changing, nothing is staying the way it was - and maybe Mr Fox, the new condo dwellers will love bait shop paintings - or digital reproductions of bait shop paintings.

When they sell, I wouldn't mind having that baitshop building picked up and moved to my backyard. And before the "progress" gets too bad, I will be moving my backyard! More people having more people having more people. Kinda like dogs, a few are nice but 5 billion is off the chain! Move over Rover!

it's a relief to know that not everyone is weepy sentimental about slashed orange groves, highway expansion, gated communities in the shadow of the oasis lounge on 510, clogged rush hour traffic, impact fees, property taxes, sea turtles or even the loss of the rebel flag last seen waving two years ago across the road from kashi. this growth will give us vast new restaurant options, shopping, more walk-in surgery centers, expanded stip malls, more shopping, perhaps more art peddlers and other useless gypsy creative types, fewer of those run-down citrus stands and other mom-and-pops, and a vast new wealth and high standard of living that will mean fewer and fewer of the old-timers and a smaller labor pool for the traditional jobs. pembroke pines here we come. i did ask how people feel about this, and i see that some say "good deal"

Actually, I'm disgusted with what is happening around here. But what to do other than tolerate or relocate?Keep painting Mr. Fox because sooner than later your works will be the memory of what once was...just like hanging Highwaymen in the glass office with windows that don't open and florecent lights to drain your skin.
