to all our friends & family,
judith has been in kirkland, washington visiting our newest grndson (just outside seattle) since july 8th so she's far away from the war going on here. i was in kenya climbing up mt. kenya for the challenge to a height of just under 500 meters (16,200 feet). it was a challenge & i made it to the top after a 4 day hike up from 2000 meters (6560 feet).
i was out with nature, no electricity, no phones - just nature & wonderful people climbing & kenyans assisting. when i got to the airport in nairobi on sunday morning to return home i was shocked to see on cnn what was going on in israel. we're quite a distance from haifa although some missles have hit tiberias & other areas not too far from here. but, we feel safe & we're continuing to stay here & we're hoping that the war ends soon without too much more lose of life & that we wipe out the terrorist threats on our borders.
