Re: Lone Bikers

I agree with the other reply. If you want to join a club then do that. If you want to ride alone then do that. With Silent Skulls already established as the non-club for non-members why start another? This is counter-productive. If it is just a desire to wear a patch join a mc,mcc. Being a biker is not about image, or how you want others to look at you at the pub, traffic lights etc. Remember, cash only buys you the bike, not the mentality or lifestyle. Silent skulls have non-members all over the world but I suggest you read the site in-depth to understand the mentality of a lone rider. I know I do.

Hi there!

I am considering the possibility of starting a Lone Bikers, England, MC, similar in nature to the US 'Silent Skulls' (see their website).

This would not be a club that meets up, has its own rallies or is political, or anything else - more like a national club of bikers who prefer to ride alone but would still like to have some sense of 'belonging'. There would be some sort of patch etc., but this would be a no fees club with the only payment being for the cost of the patch. Another possibility would be a club website.

This is only an idea at the moment but I would be interested in, and would listen to, any ideas, thoughts or objections from anyone.

Thanks - Ride Safe & Free
