I trained at LSSM as a SRMT. I have taken my advanced acupuncture course at the LSO but am not registered with the HPC. A client of mine was told because of this she has to wait some months before being allowed to give blood after having MA. Because we're not under the same governing body as osteo's/chiro's/physio's, it seems we are left out in the cold. Can we join and ask to be registered with the HPC? Has anyone else come across this problem with bloody donation and the NHS?
