28 years ago, life got in the way. Several of the usual suspects caused me to drop my music after my first and only world tour (courtesy of the US Navy). Now, the 7 kids have been reared, to mostly good results. Career has settled to a point of resting on my laurels. A couple of Christmas presents over the last couple of years (an electric piano, and last Christmas, a Roland synth.) have allowed me to knock most of the rust off of these 50 year old fingers and re-learn some old tunes, and learn some more old tunes.
Anyway, on March 23rd, this old guy will getting a second chance to start living the dreams of his youth. It will be my first gig, since the Officers Club in Yakuska Japan almost 28 years ago. The place will be Broadway 50/50. If your not playing that night, and you want to come out and see this grandfather of 8 acting like the proverbial kid in a candy store, please do. I know I’ll be having the most fun with my clothes on, that I’ve had in years.
