I know im a bit slow on this one as its been out for a couple of year now,but i just got it and im listening to it for the umpteenth time in as many days,but my over all feeling is one of enjoyment,an all UK comp from the years 1970 -73 contains so many catchy pieces of frothy pop it would be a shame to pick out any one track,i must say this is by far my most enjoyable comp that i've bought for a long time,i see theres a volume 2 out,can anyone tell me if thats as enjoyable as this?I just cant get the track "Where Am I Going"by Music Motor out of my mind,its so blood.y catchy.Anyone else get as much enjoyment from this comp as much as i have?Any fave tracks??

Hi Stuart,
Yes, I agree MUM1 is a good comp, lots of interesting early 70s singles on there I've never come across before. The Music Motor tune was on a Pop Cycles volume I did yonks ago. Vol.2 is currently slated for September release and oddly not on Past&Present as the first one is. It was supposed to be out last year but keeps getting put back for some reason. Likewise the Curiosity Shoppe comp CD. Hopefully they will see the light of day eventually.

No - I mean another CD compilation of various 60s popsike which is titled 'The Curiosity Shoppe' Visit www.hmv.com and look it up, Sept 26th I think it's now due as it Mixed Up Minds 2
