I heard that this fine album is getting a legit reissue with an extra cd of goodies,im sure i read this in Shindig.....i maybe wrong as my memory is blood.y terrible, but has anyone else heard this?I think its the fine Grapefruit label(part of cherry red)who are going to be releasing it.Oh please let this be true!!!!!!!
They sound pretty much like the earlier Alan Bown Set playing blue-eyed soul. However the Alan Bown updated the sound, elaborate arrangements (strings, flutes), lyrics about fairytales and toys, some sound effects. If you like soulful late sixties pop with a tiny bit of psych you'll enjoy this, I like it. They do a cover of a Rascals tune "Love Is A Beautiful Thing", and somehow they remind me of anglicized Rascals (early Marmalade also crops up). The most psychedelic moment is Story Book.

That's because you're on the wrong forum. This is a UK psychedelia discussion forum, not a tedious tuneless self-indulgent UK progressive discussion forum.

Only kidding. If you can 100% divide between most so called early Proggressive bands from late Psychedelic rock bands then i'll leave but since thats an impossibility i'm not in the wrong place.
