Bloody hell! I bought "...Candy Green" and "Solomon's Mind..." already ! I take it vols. 3-5 wont be issued as seperate CD's?

I think if you compare, the track list to vol.2 (King Solomon's Mind) is different on the stand-alone CD to the box set edition. 'Candy Green' is the same though I think. I would imagine the box has been issued because the other volumes of the stand alone series have not appeared, so here they all are as one set. I wish the remaining vinyl volumes of Incredible Soundshow Stories would also appear!

I receive the box today: some tracks on the single CDs don't appear on the box set edition. I don't check everything but three tacks haphazardly: bingo! None on both editions, even under the same CD title.

So keep your stand-alone CDs of "Candy Green" and "KIng Salomon": there were not useless purchases.

I got my box set yesterday. I quickly checked it against my original Candy Green from a few years ago and King Solomon's Minds and saw that some songs from the original Candy Green are on the box set King Solomon's. I assume all the songs from the stand alone discs have found their way onto one of the box set discs. I'll have to sit down and cross check in more detail.

I don't assume anything and don't write about feelings yesterday but after haphazardly checking three titles on each original CD.

For example, and it's not exhaustive:

HAPPY VEGETABLE "Light on the wall" / MOTIVATION "Delighted to see you" / SONS & LOVERS "From now the sun shines" on CD "Candy Green" (Soundshow Rec. 2004)
&
TROPICAL FISH "Everyone is everything" / FLASHBAKKS "Late night final" / 1984 "There is music all around me" on "King Solomons" (Electric Cat Rec. 2010)

ARE NOT on the box set.

I am not patient enough to check everything but at least these six songs are a good reason to keep the stand alone CDs.

Phillipe is right about assuming anything regarding the Box Set. I was totally wrong in my assumption of songs appearing on other CDs in the set. I've just checked all the songs and from the original release of We All Live on Candy Green, 10 songs are not in the Box Set. From In King Solomons Minds, 20 songs are not in the Box Set.
Good reason to keep the earlier CDs.

I'm also told (by an insider who shall be nameless) that Vols. 3,4,5 are still intended to be eventuually issued as stand alone CDs as 1 and 2 have been, though not by the same label and I would assume with different track listings or it would be rather pointless otherwise.
