Played the "With a little help from my friends"cd by The Young Idea this morning, what a splendid little swinging london pop album, nothing revolutionary about this album, but it contains some real hook laden pop songs with a tad touch of the prevalent pop/psych sound, this cd contains a few non album tracks which imo are better than anything on the actual album, the track"Colours of Darkness"is an eastern veined piece of uk pop/psych and believe it or not was only a Bside!!You also get 2 unreleased tracks, the Tony Hazzard penned"The French Horn" and a self written track titled"Mister Really Good",its a shame this duo would not be left alone by their record company to release more of their own tracks,as those extras on this cd are all pretty good pop songs. As for the title track......i really could do without hearing that blood.y song ever again.....lol!!!If you like Twice as Much's recordings the bets of enjoying this cd are pretty high.
