Been spinning this cd from 2005,as recorded by The Ministry of Sound,alias John Carter(ivy league,Flowerpot Men)Russ Alquist,Micky Keen,Robin Shaw.Theres some tremendous pop/psych on this like Rain Rain,White Collar Worker,Laughing Man,Time and Motion Study Man,Sequin Sally and more,this is a 2 cd set but theres obviously been a mistake made at the pressing plant,as cd1 is cd2 and cd2 is cd1,but the other cd in this is not as good imo,ive only played it a few times,but "Midsummer Nights Dreaming"is a must have for UK poppsychers as its packed with lush vocal harmonies, mellotron and biting guitar,in fact some of this stuff has a Flowerpot Men vibe about it!! and going for 4 quid on Amazon,thats a real bargain.35 tracks in total,John Carter must've been a prolific writer away back then.

Yes, love the 2nd CD, but the first was a bit too 'beat' for me.


I think there are some brilliant lost Rubble style pop psych tracks on here, some of which you have mentioned, but also "Up in the sky", "Magic People", "Mr Light" and several others. Mark Frumento was behind this i think.
