Re: Hep me

Oh pardon me. I didn't realise it was for people who only listen to or have one type of music in their collection.
I also had no idea that some of the favourite music in my collection like Genesis, Mighty Baby, Jethro Tull, Fleetwood Mac, Wishbone Ash, King Crimson, Van Der Graaf Generator, Audience and Gravy Train to name a few, was actually poop sike. Shit hey, you learn something every day.
I better not get that Captain Marryat album either. What was I thinking?

Re: Hep me

Okay, you didnt say it, but still has to be said : funny you lump Fleetwood Crap and Audience with prog bands.

"Das ist bull scheise!"

Re: Hep me

I said they were favorites in my collection, not necessarily prog.
And Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green was not crap. After that I lost interest.
And Audience are an interesting one. They definitely have progressive aspects to them-tracks like House On The hill for instance. Sort of like Procol Harum.Prog or not?
Wishbone Ash-Argus would be prog but I don't think their other albums are.
I noticed on the uk70s.com site they have a picture of Frank Zappa's Hot Rats album which i wouldn't have thought was prog either.
