Charisma fer shure - even though North America Charisma/Buddah presses were inferior to UK. (And even though you rarely find UK Charismas in the wild HERE.)
Brain & Vertigo, even though both were extremely patchy when it came to diversity of styles.
Brain wasn't the first Krautrock label, but the music on it was more proggy-accesable for the mainpart than Ohr or Pilz. When Rolf Kaiser, founder of OHR , drugged-up with Timothy Leary in Switzerland, two of his employees, Korber & Wendell left and formed Brain.
The first five bands released were Scorpions,Jane,Gomorha,Neu and Spirogyra.
Korber later left Brain to start up another interesting label, Sky.

Re: Favourite Label ?
Very difficult to pick a favourite label for singles. I suppose Decca/Deram had a good spread but then Fontana had some great freakbeat types in Wimple Winch, Craig and Misunderstood. A couple of my favourite bands like Tickle were on Regal Zonophone and Factory were on two different labels.
