I have and love the Roger Earl Okin single. It was a big cross-over fave on the northern soul circuit but it's just as a good a popsiker, both sides. It has something of a Mark Wirtz feel to it. I'm glad it's been given a commercial outing outside of the Northern soul comp scene.

Colors Of Love 2010 wonder if that's the Tinkerbells Fairydust song?

It is a version of the same song. There are some great tracks on this volume - the Choc Watch Band B side is a cracker - better than the comped A side 'Requiem'. The Kinsmen (B side of Glasshouse...) is also really nice. Lots of nice tracks on this one in my view.

Cheers i wondered about those others knew Requiem but have no longer got the LP CWB one I heard on youtube put it on facebook a while back.

I stop this serie at No. 10 : too MOR for me and not better than the French pop of the 70's (what we call here "variétés").

Perhaps I miss one or two tracks but I am very disappointed with PS.

The homemade serie produced about 10 years ago (thanks again Paul Martin for the sharing) was 8 miles higher.

BRILLO! & Pic Sun too, not a cat in hell's chance we would get to hear a lot of these recordings in anyone's lifetime, if it wasn't for these series.
Might not be every bodies cup of tea but if you like obscure 60's pop with a bizarre edginess, or 60's and 70's rock with a touch of acid headiness then you can't go wrong in my opinion!i believe they are only 500 copies of each and in most cases you can grab long lost and forgotten music history for a great price.

I only just got 14, 15 and 16! Looks like I'll be playing catch-up for a while. I agree with the others – this one has some nice "missing" moments on it.

Pity I missed out on part 7 of Mixed Up Minds though,But I have just bought PS 17 from ebay 9.99 great thing hearing b sides of asides that were only played once on the radio in unit 2 of potp in 60s rare stuff too./
