Just discovered that Tin Tin released a final single in 1972, or maybe '73 under the name "Quire" that I never ran into before. Has anyone heard this 45? "Strange One b/w Halfway up the Wall." I guess in the UK it was under the name Quire but under the name Tin Tin in Italy and the Netherlands.
Ha! You weren't kidding about the sound quality. I'm surprised the guy didn't sneeze mid-song! But it sounds like vintage Tin Tin, with the treated piano. Thanks for the discogs tip too. I notice the same guy on youtube made an equally lo-fi recording of a Neil Harrison 45 on Spark that sounded pretty good too. That Tin Tin/Quire song sounds very Bee Gees, which isn't much of a surprise given all the other Tin Tin output pays a debt to the Brothers Gibb.
Thanks again!
