Would anyone know which albums or a best of comp sung in English from the Hungarian band Omega are easy to come by?
I've listened to the early 70s album 200 Years After The Last War and like it but was interested to know if they released anything earlier in English.
There's a UK only LP from '68 on Decca entitled "Omega Red Star From Hungary." Not an easy LP to track down these days but it may not be terribly expensive should one turn up.
Of the 11 tracks, nine of them are sung in English. There's one instrumental and one track in the native tongue. I believe this was issued in the UK around the same time the "Trombitas Ferdi" LP was issued in Hungary as it shares several tracks with that one.
