Very sad news that folk marvel John Renbourn has passed away age 70.....another one from the 60s gone who goes to the big jam upstairs!I think i shall put the album Faro Annie on to pay tribute to a great guitarist who also could play the sitar which he utilised on a number of songs.Of course he was also in the mighty Pentangle,a group who in my opinion are blooming marvellous.Thanks John for the amount of pleasure you have gave me through the years,i am so sad that i never ever got to see you play live.And so sad to hear you've left us!!!!RIP

I was lucky to see John playing at least three times, at the latest Pentangle reunion with all the original members, alone and with Ship Of Fools (Steve Tilston had yesterday his birthday... same day as John was found dead...). A great loss
