Theres actually a comp out at the moment which features just whats been spoken about...UK acts in the continent during the 60s and single releases...the cd is stupidly titled"Blow your Bubblegum"which gives the impression its that sometimes annoying genre bubblegum....it aint bubblegum its top notch freakbeat spiky mod, psych and bruising beat music, its damn good, ive played it a few times now and it really features some marvellous music...ok some have been available on other similar collections but most to my knowledge are on here and available on cd for the first time...here are some of the groups on here:
The Snappers
Evil Eyes
The Deejays
Dave Anthonys Mood
The Vision Show
Isle of Wight Cherokees
Split Image
5 From Dave
The All...............and many more, theres 25 tracks in total..some of the groups i had never heard of before, which made it all the better for me....this is a particles release with good sound quality and a fabby informative booklet telling us about singles and albums that some of those groups released, very interesting indeed!!!Whoever made up the cover and silly title of this cd needs a good boot up the backside as it really is misleading to say the least.....but best of all i picked this cd up for 3 quid and its one of the best collections ive picked up this year so far!!!I mention it here as im sure like me originally i thought this was a bubblegum music collection and the sleeve for it doesnt discourage that thot either.Well recommended to all on here!!!! Still going cheap on Amazon sellers!!!Grab a copy while its so cheap and available!!
Little Big Horn-English band who released an album on Bellaphon in Germany in 1971. Name Of The Game is great little track, as is the bonus track Just A Game.
