Has anyone got the 2010 CD reissue of the Cartoone - S/T album on the USA Friday music label with the eight bonus tracks?

If so, what is the sound quality like on the main album - good or compressed MP3 needle drop? I know the bonus tracks are not top quality but presumably they're more than listenable? I've got the original LP but want the digital edition if it's good sound. If it's an un-mastered needle drop I may as well do that myself from the LP as the CD is not cheap.

Yeh Paul,i have that cd,the actual Cartoone albums sounds good but the extras(from an aborted second album) sound can be a bit ropey( but luckily i found the tracks recorded for that aborted second album enjoyable,and i've heard much much worse sound quality wise elsewhere),i really like this lot who are Scottish by the way,i must admit not all the songs on this cd are of high quality,but coming from a pop angle,its a real fine and enjoyable album with some nods to a psychpop sound.Just don't approach this album looking for a lost UK psych masterpiece,but its a pleasing pop album.

Thanks Stuart. I have the original LP so I know the style fo music, I was just wondering about the sound on the CD. I guiess I will get it in the near future.
