Definitely worth a respin, Phil, baring in mind that Electric Music for the Mind and Body is Country Joe and the Fish's debut album.
Released in May 1967 on the Vanguard label, it was one of the first psychedelic albums to come out of San Francisco.

Way ahead of it's time, it set the foundations for future West Coast band's sounds.

Phil you are mad. This is a classic album. Clean out your lugholes and give it another listen.😀
