I just wanted to recommend this 1968 US LP on the World Pacific label to you all. It has a stunning gatefold psychedelic cover and some great popsike tracks within. Its still available cheaply as I think it was a little too commercial for the hippes but not soft enough for the teenyboppers. The Dweller recalls the Style Council years before they ever existed. Here comes yesterday again and Picture me high set the psychedelic scene while Love machine has a quirky period health and safety ignoring video-
Great album. I had a cdr of it years ago and tracks off it were always turning up on comps of US light-psych and such 10-12 years ago. Definitely a keeper.
I've listened to the clips I found on the tube, but have not been really impressed, maybe the other songs are better? Didn't know that Ralph Murphy is actually English (the album was also recorded in the UK I believe) and the duo recorded previously as Slade Brothers for Pye. Murphy had also a good career after
