Graham Bond

Been rather enjoying Graham Bond's 1971 Lp - We Put Our Magick On You.

His two Vertigo albums (We Put Our Magick On You and Holy Magick) are expensive but the US issues on Mercury are reasonable and easily found. The twofer cd is now quite cheap.

There is also a really excellent website-

well worth a look with original reviews, posters and interviews etc.

Re: Graham Bond

Been thinking about Graham Bond a bit, mainly due to a documentary on Cream I watched recently. Must investigate him and the Organisation some more.

Re: Graham Bond

Excellent taste, Paul.

This is Graham Bond with Magick, Maurice. A different Bond band to the Organisation. Both [and his other bands] are all damn fine!

I'm aware of some of the Organisations sounds . Did they make just two albums? As for Bonds later stuff,I'll investigate further.

Re: Graham Bond

Just listened to some of Holy Magick via YouTube, and I like it. Might have to buy this.

Re: Graham Bond

Thanks for the feedback lads. There were two US only lps on Pulsar - Love is the Law & Mighty Grahame Bond prior to the two Vertigo LPs. And speaking of Cream there is also an LP with Pete Brown - Two Heads Are Better Than One from 1972. Eyes of Blue covered Love is the Law but much though I enjoy their version it doesn't compare to Bond's own-
