Teenage Operamania

Here is another nice looking compilation I've found in my collection of cdrs from the old days of sharing I see Mick and Paul were involved luckily I have all the sleeve notes and cover art.
Would anyone like this ?
I'm happy to post here as it is not commercially available..
I'm also after a tracklist for a cdr called Mini A Go-Go
TIA

Re: Teenage Operamania

I have Mini A Go-Go but with no track list (or titles on the files). It is a good Cambodian pop late 60s / early 70s collection. It was once on sale on the Cambodian Rocks website I think but I imagine long gone now.

Re: Teenage Operamania

My Teenage Opera 45s. Just for fun.
“weatherman” p/s
“Teenage Opera” p/s
‘Mr. Rainbow” (demo) Steve Flynn
‘Sam” (one sided demo p/s)
‘Weatherman” (demo)
‘10,000 words” reissue (originals are exorbitant!)
“Mrs.Raven” (not strictly Teenage Opera but fits in well)
“On a Saturday” Keith West (demo)
“Winter Will be Cold/Me” Zion de Gallier (demo)

Re: Teenage Operamania

Nice collection Joe. Love that 'Sam' picture sleeve. I have the 'On A Saturday' / 'Kid Was A Killer' 45, a great doube sider. Am I right in thinking the musicians on 'Kid'incuded Ronnie Wood and Ainsley Dunbar?

Play
Keith West - 'On A Saturday' back to back with Fickel Pickle's 'Saturday'. Both sublime.

Re: Teenage Operamania

Hi Paul,

I think you’re right about that line-up. I also recently picked up Keith West’s Deram single “Riding for a Fall”, which it turns out is different from both the Moonrider version AND the version on the Teenage Opera CD. To my ears this unique Deram 45 version is the best of the three, and while not as great as “On a Saturday,’” is another fine Keith West single.
I also really love that Fickle Pickle tune. I think that album recently got a reissue.

Joe👍
