Ive just been looking at a newspaper music ad page and it says about David Bowie & The Buzz appearing in Peterborough in March 1966 does anyone know who was in the Buzz his backing band? It also states David Bowie hit recorder of 'I cant help thinking about me" thats a strange coincidence
Not the same Buzz, but just in case anyone hasn't heard this brilliant piece of freakbeat madness, have a listen.
Always makes me wonder how anyone thought this would be a radio hit even if it was a Joe Meek production.
