I always prefered Idle Race live and raw, rather than the commercialised tamed down studio stuff the music industry made [while trying for a big money-spinning top 10 hit and then dreaming of all the merchandise crap they then could flog to the kiddies who were buying their singles].

If we could just stick to the 1966-1972 Idle Race live stuff please, even officially released live things {maybe the BBC recordings were released?} - that'd be great; so things folks like me might not have heard. I think The Nightriders [1959-1966] and Idyll Race [1966] deserve their own post should anyone have anything from those times.
