This box set is a must for me of course me being Scottish, cd 4 and 5 are the ones that I really fancy, great to see Jasons flock in there, a and no Scottish box set would be complete without the poets and their later recordings too by the looks of it. Would love to have saw some tam white solo stuff, though they are very early 70s from his middle earth album. Also good to see Alex Harvey solo recordings, as those are under rated and there's some great songs on the hairband album though not included on this. Can't see any giant moth sides though!! But I rate his roman wall blues album. This box set is certainly essential to guys like me who love 60s sounds but to have a box set full of Scottish and related sounds is great!! About bloody time too!!!

Also notice Stuart, that there is nothing from Beggars Opera. Did there first album come out after 1970?

For sure it was recorded in 1970 but maybe in the shopss January '71 like the first single Sarabande...

Yes Gian, definitely 1970 as was the Human Beast album. Their second album Waters Of Change was released in 1971.
Surprising omission considering some of the doubling up of artists. Another being Tear Gas, pre SAHB whose first album also came out in 1970.

Cherry Red re-issued the Tear Gas album last month on CD so I guess it's a matter who has the licensing to some things.
