Hi Psychsters,
I came across this series recently and thought it might be of interest. Most of the tracks come from the early 70's and are a mix of psychedelic rock, prog rock, glam & hard rock, collectively termed "freakrock". The series was released by Past & Present between 2009 & 2014. I was impressed with the track selection and would recommend a listen. All 6 volumes are on Soulseek.

Thanks Mark. Yeah, I have a few of these and these have some great heavy tracks. I'd like to check them all out.

On a similar note, have you ever checked out the Mixed Up Minds comps? Those are more late 60s/early 70s, obscure UK pop and rock with some hints of psych here and there. I discovered quite a few bands & songs from those comps. I think there are around 10 volumes. All the cover art is made up of some weird elf people but the song selection is quite good if you haven't checked those out.

How does one download from Soulseek?
