Underground Psychedelic Sounds Of The 60's

Hi Psychsters

I came across this cool compilation of psych videos on YT and thought I'd share. There are 199 in total from the likes of The Chocolate Watchband, The David, Tiffany Shade, The Standells, The 13th Floor Elevators to name but a few. Many are represented by visualizations but they are well groovy and it's nice to have such a decent collection all in one place.

Nice to have a selection like this running in the background whilst dealing with the more mundane on-line tasks. The first track is a typical example of how beat groups briefly dipped their toe in the psychedelic waters of '67, this was the work of Clive 'Robin' Sands of course. Looking on Discogs the Deejays released a single in 1968 which I may not have heard with the A side penned by one Quasimodo - gotta be a story behind that!

He does some great visuals.

Great, I was not aware of this Clive "Robin Sarstedt" Sands collaboration. A pity many songs he wrote for The Deejays are still not available!
