Re: Re: Woman Team

I understand that your not trying to down us. And I do appreciate your honesty. I was told threw the people at the training center (go figure) that if we went the Werner carrier that they would most likely put us in the same truck with the same trainer so we could learn from the same person in the same way. And that we could be in training any where from two to six weeks then assigned our own truck. There is one thing I don't understand about your comment though. What is the difference in putting a person alone in a truck after a short training time with no experience than putting a team together in a truck with the same training time. We are not in the classes as of yet. We are doing much research before jumping into this. And asking lots of questions. Thanks for your input. Another question for you guys and gals. How do you all get hooked up to the internet while your on the road? May seem like a silly question, but just curious... Thanks again.. Angie

If you and your friend aregoing to school to obtain you CDL's, there is no way you can team together right from the start. You will first have to be with a driver trainer for at least 6-8 weeks since neither of you know the first thing about driving a truck. Not trying to down either of you, but that's the way it is. No company in there right mind is going to put 2 people who have absolutely no experience together in a team driving position.
