Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.




My name is Dr. Diana Brevan Where Jesus is Lord!



SET YOUR MIND ON GOD (August 9)
Colossians 3:1-2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
We need to really read a verse like this and say WOW! So that’s how God sees us, raised with Him. It makes it so much easier to set our minds on things above and not on things of this earth. Each day as you go about your daily task, keep God on your mind and you will see that whatever things come your way, through Him, you will be able to do them and even enjoy them. All things do work out for the good of those who set their minds on the King. Brother Lawrence, a monk who wrote the book Practicing the Presence of God said, “I have found that the shortest way to God is to go straight to Him”.
The Bible says in Matt. 6:33 \"...seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.\"
It sounds so simple. And you know what? It is. It\'s when we set our mind on Him, when we think about Him and His goodness during the course of the day, that no matter what happens, we know God will get us through it.
Confession: This is a new day with a new goal. Today, I\'m going to keep my Heavenly Father on my mind. I know He is always there, but today I\'m going to make a conscience decision to acknowledge Him throughout the day.

THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL (August 10)
Romans 1:16 (NKJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
The Gospel, what would we do without it. It is through the Gospel that we receive eternal life. The Gospel is God’s power to us in our lives. The word \"salvation\" means deliverance, safety, preservation, healing, and soundness. In this Gospel of salvation, there is not only forgiveness of sins, but there is safety, healing, soundness of mind and life and the promise that God preserves us unto good things.
What an amazing Father we have Who has given us so much. As we learn His Word and His ways, we see all the good that He has set in order for us to live the victorious life in Christ Jesus.
He said the reason He sent Jesus, is so that we could have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10 AMP)
Make a decision today to find out all that the power of the Gospel has for you and then live it out for His honor and glory. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation and if God wants us to have all of His fullness, I for one want to go for it all. How about you?
Confession: Today, I make a decision to live in the true Gospel, a Gospel of power, of safety and of healing. Today, I make a decision to live out all that Jesus bought for me.
