Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.

LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

John 14:1-4 (NKJV) Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
God doesn't want our lives to be filled with trouble, to be stirred up, or agitated. He wants us to have a peaceful life, a life filled with His goodness and His presence. The enemy comes to steal our joy, but our Heavenly Father has come to give us peace or we can say He has come to give us Himself. When you feel yourself being agitated or disturbed, take time to hang out with Him and watch as those troubles melt away like snow does on a warm summer day. Snow doesn't have a chance in the heat of a day and troubles can't stay in His presence.
Think of yourself as that sheep that is being led into fresh, tender green pastures, beside still and restful waters. Picture yourself being cared for by a Shepherd Who feeds, guides and shields you. Who prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies!
Still your heart by thinking of how much your Heavenly Father loves you, and how much He gave so that you could live with Him forever. He's preparing a place for you!!
Confession: Today, I make a decision to keep my heart and mind fixed on the Lord. Troubles, you can't stay as I let my mind think about Him and not all the things that agitate life. I take hold of His peace and live an abundant life in Christ Jesus.
