Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.

LEAP OVER A WALL

2 Samuel 22:29-30 (NKJV) “For You are my lamp, O LORD; the LORD shall enlighten my darkness.30 For by You I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall.

Many times we try to do things that aren't possible to do in our own strength. But when we put our trust in God our Father He gives us the power to run against the enemy and to leap walls that are too high for us to leap over.

When young David came against Goliath he didn't let Goliath run at him, instead he ran against him. Why was that? Because he knew Who his God was and what his God could do. He knew the covenant of his God so he came with boldness against the enemy.

We have a covenant with our God through Jesus Christ and if He wants you to run at the enemy you can, and if he wants you to leap over a high wall, you can. The Bible says in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Jesus is our strength and He is our ability. Today, if you have something or someone coming against you, don't fight them in your own strength, learn to lean on His strength. Learn to rely on the covenant keeping God and watch those giants in your life come tumbling down.

Confession: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It's not in my own strength that I combat these situations but in His strength. If it’s Christ working through me, I cannot lose.
