Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.

HE MUST INCREASE January 22 2015
John 3:30 (NKJV) He must increase, but I must decrease.




True fulfillment in life comes when we let Jesus increase in our lives and when we decrease. Think of the person who made that statement. John, the cousin of Jesus, was having great popularity in his ministry. People were coming from all over to be baptized by him. Then one day Jesus comes and John recognizes who He is. He heard the Voice, He saw the Dove and he said to Jesus, “I need to be baptized by you not the other way around”.
Now people come to John and say "Hey John, that guy you were talking about, well, His ministry is getting bigger than yours. More people are coming to Him than to you”. This could have caused jealousy in John but he knew his mission on earth. He knew that all that he had was not his, but as a steward he was to manage what God had given him. We only have today what our Father God knows we can handle, and if we are faithful to that, He will bless us with more.
The law of increase says, if you want more, be faithful in what you have now. Faithfulness is the key to everything in the kingdom of God. Faithfulness is how we are when no one is looking. John was faithful to his calling when people saw him baptizing people or when he was all alone in the wilderness. That is true faithfulness.
So when John made this amazing statement, “He must increase, but I must decrease", he didn't even have to think of what he would say. It was already in his heart because of the lifestyle of stewardship that he had lived.
All that we have today is what God has entrusted to us and we need to be faithful to it. We must let God increase and we must humble ourselves. We must hand it all over to God and when God calls us home, we can have the full assurance in our hearts that we will hear Him say, "WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT". That's what I want to hear, how about you?
Confession: Today, I choose to let God increase in my life and to let myself decrease. I want people to see more of the Father in my life and less of my shortcomings. Today, I choose to let God live big in me.

I'M A CHILD OF THE KING January 23 2015
Galatians 4:7 (NKJV) Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.




Who am I? We see so many people in the world trying to figure this out. Who am I? If I want to find this out, I need to go to the source. My source, and I pray your source, is the Word of God, the Bible.
The Word of God tells me where I came from and where I'm going. That gives me complete contentment within myself. I know that I might have been the driver of my life, but I have given God the wheel to help me in my race. I have found out that God is much better with this than I am, so I say, “Lord tell me which way to go and I'll follow you”.
As we look at this question today of "who am I?", we find from the Word of God that we are King’s kids, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. It says in Revelation 19:16 (NKJV)” And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”. Guess who He is the King and the Lord of? That’s right, you and me.
When we know this and accept this great privilege that God Almighty has given to us, we live a life of blessings and not curses. God doesn't curse His own, He only blesses.
I love the way that the Amplified Bible brings out this verse in Romans 5:17 (AMP) “For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)”.
Did you see it? We’re to reign as kings in this life through Jesus Christ. So who are you? You’re a King’s kid, an heir of God, and a joint heir of Christ. Start thinking that way and you will start living that way.
Confession: Today, I declare and decree that I am a child of the King. I am a joint heir with Christ. I know who I am. I am In Him, and I choose to live the abundant life that He has promised me.

SUCH A TIME AS THIS January 24 2015
Esther 4:14 (NKJV) “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Do you ever wonder why you were born in this generation? We could have been born during the ancient Roman era, or during the Wild West or for that matter anytime throughout history. But God, our Abba Father, chose for us to be born here in the 21st century and it's because He has a great plan for us that we could not have fulfilled in any other time period.




I believe that we are a very special people, born at this time with all the problems and all the confusion that is in the world today. I believe that we might be the group of people that will see the return of Jesus Christ the King and Lord of the earth. With that responsibility also comes great empowerment.
You see God our Father, would not have put us here on the earth when satan is going wild, without the power to control him. He has given us the power, and it's through His Word, the Bible, through His Name, and through the power of the Holy Spirit. He has given us all of these.
God has empowered us for such a time as this. So it's so important not to get caught up in the things of this world, but to get caught up in HIs presence. Get as close to your Abba Father as you can. Be filled with His Word and His Spirit and live a life separated from this world yet still in this world, to help and to be a blessing.
Today, be a part of this world to help change it for God's glory. Stay close to Him, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Remember, you’re here in this period of time to do something great for the Kingdom of God.
Confession: I am alive today for a reason. I am here because God my Father has chosen me to be alive at this exact time in world events. He has empowered me to overcome anything that the enemy might throw at me. I am here to be a blessing.
