Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.


FAITHFUL PEOPLE
Nehemiah 7:1-2 (NKJV) Then it was, when the wall was built and I had hung the doors, when the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed, 2 that I gave the charge of Jerusalem to my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the leader of the citadel, for he was a faithful man and feared God more than many.
Faithful people, that’s what our Heavenly Father is looking for. He’s looking for people who will stick to their word no matter what. In Proverbs 20:6 (NKJV), it says, “Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, but who can find a faithful man?”




I want to say, here Lord, we are faithful. We are faithful, holding on no matter how we feel or what the situation looks like. We live in a world where people will sell their souls for a few dollars, or for a time of fame. I want to be faithful to God. The way that I can be faithful to God my Father, is to live a faithful life.
I need to be faithful to my wife in the good times and the bad times, faithful to my children and grand children, faithful at my job, faithful to my church, a faithful citizen of my country. I need to be there when I feel like it or not. I need to be faithful when the people that I voted for are elected, or not.
You see faithful is faithful, when it's easy and when it's tough. Anyone can be faithful when everything is going right, when the sun is shining and all the bills of life are paid, but what about when it's raining and all of our prayers didn't get answered the way that we thought they would.
Oh, a faithful man is hard to find, but I want us to believe together today, that we’ll get unfaithfulness out of our lives and let the true faithfulness of Christ flow in us and through us. Come on, how about you?
Confession: Today, I choose to come out from among the world’s way of living and live a good life of faithfulness. I choose to be a faithful person to my family, my church, and my world. I choose this in Jesus Name.
