Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.

THE GOSPEL IS GOOD NEWS
Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
When Jesus rose from the dead He gave us the great commission to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. The Gospel is GOOD NEWS. The Gospel is that God has made a way for people to be reconciled to Himself. The Gospel is that God has made a way for us to get to heaven, that He has made a way for us to have an intimate relationship with Him. This is GOOD NEWS!
Jesus told us to go into all the world and tell people this great message. "Hey everyone, God is not mad at you. He's not mad at all your mistakes. In fact, He forgives us of all our mistakes." I believe that's the reason so many people run from God is because people tell them that God's going to get you for that, or you have to get all cleaned up before you can come to God.

This is the farthest from the truth. None of us can clean ourselves up to the point that we would be accepted by God. It is only through the blood of Jesus that we are accepted. The blood of our precious Jesus has washed away all of our sins and made us pure in the sight of the Father.
I am as righteous today as I will be a trillion years from now, not because of me, but because of Jesus and all that He did for me on the cross and through the resurrection. So today, don't look at yourself outside of Jesus. Look at yourself through Jesus. See yourself In Him, renewed, restored, and redeemed, and all because of the Gospel.
CONFESSION: What can wash me white as snow? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Because of receiving the Gospel and believing all that Jesus did for me, I am saved, healed, and whole. What Good News this is.

JESUS IS THE WAY
John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me".
You can’t get it any simpler than this. Jesus is telling us that He is the only way to the Father, that He is the only way to heaven. There are people who say that there are many ways to get to heaven, but Jesus made it as clear as can be that He is the only way. Why is that, you might ask?
Jesus is God’s gift to the world. When man sinned he needed a redeemer, or someone to take his place. Man was without hope and on a one way path to hell. BUT GOD! God had a plan that was set from the foundations of the world. His plan was to put man’s sin on Himself, on His One and only Son.
When Jesus hung on the cross, He became our sin bearer. The very wrath of God was placed on Him so it wouldn’t have to be placed on us. In fact, it pleased the Father to do this so that we can now have total forgiveness of sin and His very righteousness. It’s hard for our minds to comprehend this that God put all of our sin on Jesus and God put all of Jesus’ holiness on us. This is the great exchange. This is what we call identification. He got all the bad, we get all the good. He took our sin, our shame, our guilt, and we get His holiness, His blamelessness, His freedom.
So today, don’t see yourself as a no good sinner just barely making it through life. No, see yourself as the very righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See yourself as blameless in Him. See yourself accepted in the Beloved. See yourself as victorious through the cross and by the blood of the Lamb. When you see yourself this way and start speaking it with your mouth, you will see a change in your attitude. Once your mind changes, the outside has no choice but to line up with the Word of God. So go ahead, say this confession below and let it become a part of your life.
CONFESSION: I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me. The Lord Jesus has made me blameless and accepted by His blood. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am loved by my Father God.
