Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.

FULFILLED IN ONE WORD
Galatians 5:14 (NKJV) For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Can it get any simpler than that? All of the law, all of it, is fulfilled in one word. So many people try and keep every little part of the law and when they fail, as we all will, they get into condemnation. But this verse tells us that all we have to do to live free of that condemnation is to keep this one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself. We can say it like this, love one another.
When we think that we are born of love and that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, living this way should be so easy for us, yet we see that for many, it’s really tough. Why is that? I believe it’s because we are too flesh-minded or we can say, selfish, instead of being God-inside-minded.
You see, the Holy Spirit has been given to us to be our Helper. He is our Teacher, and if we will take time to listen to His compassion within us, we will see that He will give us the ability to love even the unloving.
God knows that the only way that we can walk in victory in this life is to let His love flow through us. People are hurting and they need His love to be shown to them. It’s such a shame that people go to some churches and get beat up instead of built up. And what this does is gives them the attitude that God doesn’t love them so how can His love flow through them.
Today, we need to see that we are love children of a love God. That He has poured His love in us and He wants us to pour it out to others. He wants us to be His light and His love to a hurting world. Hey, they don’t need condemnation or even our judging, they need our love because our love is His love.
Go ahead and let God work through you. Remember the greatest people that ever walked this earth are those who walked like Jesus, those who walked in love.
Confession: I am a love child of a love God and today I make a quality decision to walk in His love and be a blessing wherever I go.

ALL THINGS WORK FOR GOOD
Romans 8:28 (NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Here is a scripture that I have seen so abused in my life as a Christian. I have heard people say things like this, “Well you know that tragic accident that person had? We know it was God’s will and He will work it out for the good”. Or, someone has a sickness come against them and they hit them with the same line.
But to understand this verse you have to read what the Holy Spirit was talking about. He was talking about prayer in verse 26-27. Let’s look at it. Romans 8:26-27 (NKJV) Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
You see, all things work out for good for those that are praying and breaking the power of the enemy. God doesn’t have sickness or calamity within Him. Our God is a good God and Father, and every good thing comes from Him. But there is also a very bad devil that confuses people into thinking that every time he brings a bad thing on a person, it’s God our loving Father doing it.
No, child of God, we need to correctly study God’s Word and not be moved about by every wind of doctrine. Jesus said one day, “He who has seen me has seen the Father”. This verse which is found in John 14:9 shows us who the Father is and what the Father does. Jesus never made one person sick and then told them that it would work out for the good. No, Jesus healed the sick, provided for people’s needs and brought life to dead people.
That’s our Father God and now we know the lies of the devil. So if something is coming against you and it’s not good, break the power of the enemy and thank the Father for setting you free, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
CONFESSION: My Father God is a good God and every good and perfect gift comes from Him. All bad comes from the devil and I bind him from my life today.
