Heavenly Father, Awesome Ruler, Gentle Redeemer,
We bless your name, we honor You, we give You glory, we give You praise. Thank You for new grace, new mercy.
Thank You for Your Word which reminds us how much we need You in our lives. Without knowing that, we would be so quick to try and do things on our own, in our own way. But because You so graciously told us in Your Word that “apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5,), we won’t make that mistake. The Holy Spirit reminds us of what Acts says about You: That it is “in him we live, move, and have our being.” Whatever victories we accomplish in life, whatever success we attain, we owe it ALL to You.
Lord, Your love for us is so great that no matter what our need is, You are not only willing, but You are able to provide it for us, according to Your will, purpose and plan for our lives. We are glad to know that You are always on our side, fighting for US, and we pray to always be on Your side. You are our strength, wisdom and power. Everything we do is through You. Thank You for helping us to always recognize and honor Your presence, because it is always in You that we live, move, and have our being. Today as we venture out whether it is to work, shopping or appointments, go with us dear Lord, cover us in the precious blood of Jesus. We depend on You today, Lord, and not ourselves. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen!
