Lord as we gather this day we ask that you bless those that are delivering your word especially our Senior Pastor Dr Diana Brevan. We also ask that all those receiving your word will do so with a open heart and that your message will be written in their spirit,

We also hold up the Leadership of Jesus is Lord Fellowship and pray that you will build a hedge of protection around their lives.

As Dr Diana comes to the podium let us take a moment to bow our heads in prayer.
Today let us remember to prayer today for ourselves. For our own needs in health, wealth and happiness and for our spiritual wellbeing and growth
As we pray also let us hold up all the prayer requests that we have received this past week. Let us also be in agreement with the unspoken prayers that lay in each of our hearts.
Let us lift up all those that have been called as Prayer Warriors, that they may have the Lords strength as they pray and that a hedge of protection may surround them and their families
Let us also prayer for the needs of our local Church including the needs of Jesus is Lord Fellowship WWI. Let us as God for provisions so that His church may be able to continue the work that He has set aside for it. Let us pray for those that have been called to leadership in His church that they may have strength and a Godly vision at all times. Let us place a hedge of protection around Leaders and their families so that they may be healed from all health problems.

Let us pray that as we listen today our heart and our inner soul will be open to the words so that we may feed freely on the message and drink from the Holy Spirit.

We welcome all National and International Fellowship members and visitors around the globe as you receive the spiritual nutrition of the Lords Word.

Oh Deacon the Scripture of Focus is Luke 17 11-19 Amen for the Power of Thankfulness
The Power of Thankfulness
Dr.Diana Brevan
I. There is a prevailing spirit in our world of thanklessness.
A. Christmas bonuses are expected instead of appreciated.
B. Companies have to give perks such as; employee of the month, special parking places, special days, achievement awards, awards of excellence, above and beyond recognition just to have people do their jobs.
C. Whatever happened to being thankful for a place to work and a company that could pay a paycheck?
D. If we are not careful, this same spirit can creep into the church.
E. We should not base our relationship with God on what He can do for us....but what He has already done.
F. The power of being thankful opens doors to God’s greatness.
II. 73 occurrences of thanks.
3 occurrences of thankful.
28 occurrences of thanksgiving.
1 occurrence of thankfulness.
A. That is at least 105 times the Bible deals with the spirit and action of thankfulness.
III. Before we talk about the power of thankfulness, let’s look at the power of being Unthankful.
A. Verse 18 speaks of those who suppress or hinder the truth by unrighteousness.
1. It does matter how we live.
2. How we live dictates our witness.
3. We can either magnify the truth or suppress it by our lives and words.
B. Verse 19 tells us those who hinder the truth in their unrighteousness have the potential to know all there is to know about God because God has shown them.
1. God will use His word, a preacher, a saint, nature, or anything He wants to help people know about Him.
C. Verse 20 tells us how God uses creation itself to show us His power and Godhead.
1. The complexity of nature alone teaches us about the Godhead.
2. There is only ONE God who could create all things.
3. If there was a committee of three or more, it would never have been done.
D. Verse 21 shows us there are those who know God but don’t glorify Him as God.
1. It is possible to be baptized in the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Ghost and still not allow God to be God in our life.
2. We need to glorify Him AS God and not as a way of “covering all the bases”, or a crutch, or a way of escape.
3. He is the supreme, eternal ruler of heaven and earth. There is none greater than Him.
E. Verse 21 further states peoples unthankfulness causes them to become vain in their imaginations.
1. They literally become empty.
2. There is a drastic difference between being full of the Holy Ghost and being empty of the Holy Ghost....full of God’s blessings and empty of them, full of His mercy and empty of them.
F. Finally, this verse ends with how an unthankful heart becomes foolish, then darkened.
1. In other words, deprived of light.
G. There are those who are unthankful for the revelation of the oneness of God, Jesus name baptism, the in-filling of the Holy Ghost.
1. That unthankfulness is a manifestation of a lack of a LOVE of the truth.
H. The power of Unthankfulness is God’s wrath. Romans 1:18
IV. Enough of that! Let’s talk about the power of thankfulness.
A. 10 men full of leprosy.
B. Cried out to Jesus for mercy.
C. All ten told to show themselves to the priest.
D. All ten cleansed.
E. One man had to go back to Jesus and thank Him before the pronouncement of cleansing.
F. This simple act of gratitude was an expression of his great faith.
G. The power of thankfulness opened the door for him to made whole.
H. Picture his next encounter with the other nine.
I. The others were the center of attention because of the cleansing.
J. This one had a better testimony because of his thankfulness.
K. The power of thankfulness not only brought healing but made this man whole.
V. After Jonah ran from God he was swallowed up by the fishy whale.
A. Listen to Jonah’s prayer:
B. As soon as Jonah mentioned sacrificing with the voice of thanksgiving...regardless of how bad a problem he was in...he was delivered from torment.
C. The power of thankfulness brings deliverance to us.
VI. The power of thankfulness unleashes God’s power.
A. Picture if you will, an F-16 sitting on the tarmac running at full throttle with after-burners kicked in tethered by a rope.
B. What would happen if that rope were cut instantly?
C. So the power of God is straining against the tether.
D. We release His power by the power of our thankfulness.
VII. One last scripture.
A. The power of our thankfulness brings revival and growth.
B. I believe when we are thankful, God multiplies to the church

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
