Turn to Proverbs 10:1-8
Proverbs 10 King James Version (KJV)
10 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

3 The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
We learn today that from Solomon that a wise son makes a father happy, but a foolish son is a heavy burdern for the mother. Treasures of satanic and evil doing will lead to poverty, however, being born again delivers a righteous man from death in Hell fire. The Christian will not suffer from hunger, but the lost will lose everything he has. A poor man that is lazy is dealt with difficulties in life, but the hard worker will be made rich. A wise son gathers his harvest in the summer, but a foolish son sleeps in harvest and cause shame due to no food was gathered to feed his family. Blessings comes to the saved, but violence caused the lost to be humbled and not able to speak. A jus man will have memories to remember for a lifetime, but the lost will remember nothing. The Christian will receive commandments to follow after righteousness, but the fool will fall into wickedness.
