Turn to Proverbs 13:18-25
18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.



Poverty and shame comes to a person that refuses to listen to others, but riches and successes comes to one that regards instruction. Desires are accomplished are sweet, but it is abomination for a fool to depart from his evil ways. A person that walks with wise people will be considered wise, but if you walk with unwise people you will be destroyed. Evil follows a sinner, but the righteous will be repaid for following good things. A good man leaves an inheritance for his grandchildren, but a bad man’s wealth will be for the good man in the end. A poor man will gain much food, but a person is destroyed if found guilty of judgment. A person that do not discipline his son is hated, but he is loved if they are disciplined for their actions. A righteous man eats enough food, but a fool eats more than enough and becomes with gluttony.
