Turn to Proverbs 15:22-25
22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of coun-sellors they are established.
23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell be-neath.
25 The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the bor-der of the widow.
Without a council you will be disappointed when you make decision, but with a council you will be blessed when you make decision. When you speak good it is a joy and usually happens at the right time. The way of eternal life is a blessing for the wise and will not have to worry about Hell. The Lord will destroy a person’s house that has excess in riches and full of pride, but he will try to have the poor and the humble with a house and with food.
