Turn to Proverbs 17:9-12
Proverbs 17:9-12 King James Version (KJV)
9 He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
10 A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.
11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.
A person that shows love covers his sins, but a person that does things repeats things over and over loses his friends. Reproof enters easier to a wise man than a fool that takes one hundred stripes for being punished. An evil man seeks rebellion and trouble and a cruel messenger shall go against him face to face. A bear that is not disciplined is better for a man, than a fool in his sins because the bear will attack him.
