Turn to Proverbs 18:9-12
Proverbs 18:9-12 King James Version (KJV)
9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.
10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
11 The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility
A person that is lazy working is similar to a person that wastes his time. The Lord’s name is a tower and the righteous run into the tower for safety from Satan. The rich man’s wealth is in his city and also has a high wall built for his demise. Destruction is in the heart of the prideful man and humility is in the heart of the righteous man when he is honored with rewards.
